Somatic is a utility I created to create full and linked clones of VMware Fusion VMs, similar to what you can do with VMware Workstation on Windows. Check out this doc about full and linked clones to learn more about them. Somatic is open source, so feel free to examine or enhance it. If you have a good change that you'd like me to integrate, fork the somatic repo on Github, create a new branch for your feature, then create a pull request to me. If you don't care about all that hippy-open-source-let's-all-kumbaya stuff, then feel free to just download the zip below, extract it, and then move it to your applications folder. |
